Just to let you know, this wonderful oral surgeon passed away in April of 2007. He extracted a tooth for me last year and was so artful I didn't know the tooth was out. It had split through the root while chewing and came out in 2 pieces. The extraction could have gone very badly given the tooth was broken, but did not because of the doctor's skill and vast experience. It was worth the approximate $100 out of pocket.

My family & I have been patients of Dr. James Fricke's for over twenty years. I was quite surprised to see that no one had written a review on this site.
Dr. Fricke has provided myself as well as 3 members of my family with quality, comforting care. We have had, over the years, various types of oral surgery including wisdom teeth extraction, molar extraction, pediatric & maxillofacial surgery.
Austin Oral Surgery's facilities are immaculate and state-of-the-art. The surgical staff is concerned with excellent patient care. Dr. Fricke is totally compassionate and gentle.
