Had my wisdom teeth out. Dr Harrison was a bit brusque but with laughing gas and local anesthetic I felt no pain at all. I was nervous but there was no reason to be. I was very impressed.

HORRIBLE - DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth removed and was anxious going into it. Because I flinched while getting the novocaine shots, I was told that I was "too anxious" and that he would not perform the surgery unless I rescheduled with increased medications, including Valium and possibly full sedation, which is double the cost out of pocket. I tried to explain that this was my only opportunity for the next 8 months to get off work to have the surgery done, and I was told that "it won't kill you to be in pain for the next 6 months." I was also told twice during my visit that if I didn't like it, then I could take my X-ray and find someone else. While speaking to his receptionist, Angie, she was very snotty and had a very terrible attitude to me as a patient.
I ended up calling Dr. Henry Rolin (also in Fairfax), explained my situation, and was fit in that afternoon for an emergency consultation and extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth. The whole procedure took less than half an hour, I was off pain meds within 5 days, and have had zero complications. His staff was wonderful, and he was very competent, unlike Dr. Harrison. I would highly recommend Dr. Rolin as I had a much better experience.
