I went to Dr. Cordoba a few years ago. I am a mom who previously had braces, and my teeth had shifted. I had planned to fix my teeth, then when finished start treatment for my children.
He didn't even try to do an adequate job. By the end of my treatment, the placement of my braces on my teeth was so off, that I had teeth that were much longer than others, and the top and bottom teeth did not align properly. When I complained and tried to get him to fix it, he made half-hearted attempts to do so. I ended up spending several thousand dollars with yet another orthodontist to fix what he did, but couldn't fix everything. The next ortho just shook his head at his sloppy work.
My teeth are permanently loose. My dentist says it is because Dr. Cordoba uses the strongest wire possible so that he only needs to see patients every two months instead of every one month. This may make his job easier and save him money, but it ruined my teeth.
It has been about 5 years since my treatment, and I would give anything just to be able to put my teeth back to where they were before he touched them. And obviously, I canceled my children's appointments with him and went elsewhere for their braces. Don't walk -- run!
