I finished my treatment with Dr. Kaplan in the late 1980's/early 90's. Complete strangers often comment on my smile. A dentist (a friend's father) I had never met, within a minute of meeting me, said, "You should thank your orthodontist." Every time I go to a new dentist (I have moved a lot in the last few years), they comment on what a great orthodontist I had. My teeth have been a huge source of confidence, and I am so grateful to have had such a great orthodontist. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I was actually just trying to look up his number (I need a new night guard) and came across this site, and felt the need to post. If you are looking for an orthodontist in Rockville/Bethesda/Potomac, you should absolutely consider Dr. Kaplan. I actually have no clue about how expensive he is (my parents paid for treatment) and how the facilities are (they have probably remodeled things since I was there), but those factors are far less important to me than the end result. It has been over 15 years since I got my braces off, and I still get compliments on my teeth all the time--who really cares what the office looks like or whether a few bucks were saved?
