Dr. Kogod has done fabulous work for both my daughters. He does a great job with starting early and taking advantage of time and growth to make changes. He did a treatment plan for daughter number 1 , and the "Phase I" portion, which involved using spacers and night appliance was so successful that she did not need to get braces -- and he told us so. His recommendation was that the marginal difference in her teeth would be so little, he did not think it was worth it, but of course it was up to us. I was impressed with his advice against his own interest. My second daughter also had great progress in Phase I over a couple of years, with having teeth pulled, using spacers, etc. She has gone on to braces, which should be coming off shortly. Her teeth are looking great. My sense is that because so much of the change happens structurally before the braces, the teeth don't just move back (which happened with my own orthodontic work growing up). Dr. Kogod is very nice to work with, and I can't imagine better results.
