We had a very stressful time when our child had their braces done at Dr. Restics. Dr. Restic is foremost concerned with cosmetic appearance and secondarily with the operation of the teeth. He goes as far as file off the little ridges on the bottom edges of front teeth because he thinks that looks better, but where the little ridges aid in mastication. He will pull excess teeth, again mainly for aesthetic reasons. If you reason for braces is total cosmetic, Dr. Restic would be a good match. If you are primarily concerned with proper functioning of teeth in the mouth, I would not recommend him.
