Dr. Mike Wetzel gave me braces and shaved all my teeth. He is very nonchalant about shaving off your enamel. Yeah, enamal, the part of your tooth that protects you from decay and cavaties. I currently have tons of cavaties because of what my dentist calls "food traps" created by Dr. Mike Wetzel. He'll even let his hygenists shave your teeth. Multiple visits at Wetzel's office resulted in a hygenist taking the drill to my teeth. I have nightmares about my orthodonic treatment from Mike Wetzel.
Gratefully my teeth were already mostly straight, when he started his violent treatment of Braces. If they hadn't been straight, I may have had permanent damage like so many other patients of his. I cannot believe he is in practice after receiving a suspension on his license.
Hopefully he's changed his ethics.
