For some reason, most people are scared of the dentist. Taking your children to Dr. Martinez' office is the best thing you can do for building a lifetime of good positive relationships with the dentist. You walk into the office and the waiting room is completely oriented towards playtime! It is all carpeted in bright colors and filled with toys and games for kids of all ages. You are quickly greeted, then the child is given a name tag and you are ushered into the work area. This is a large open area with several patient chairs, window seats filled with toys and a bright, cheerful staff. When the patient sits at the dental chair, they are given cool glasses to avoid the bright light hurting their eyes and they are given a choice of flavors for the fluoride. The staff keeps the process moving at a fast but steady pace. Children get x-rays, both regular and panoramic, without pressure or forcefulness. The dentist examines the patients in separate, private offices after the routine cleaning and x-rays are performed. The area is filled with toys and video games, so the kids never get bored of waiting there. My son is thrilled as am I with Dr. Martinez' office and we recommend it highly with the utmost confidence!
