I had been seeing Dr. Pearson for well over 10 years. I thought his work was very good and his dental hygienist, Pat, did an excellent job. My husband was seeing Dr. Pearson as well and I had recommended many people.
I had a appointment set up for a cleaning and when the office worker called me the day before to confirm, I started asking her questions about my insurance and why they didnt seem to be paying as much as they use to. She said they were no longer in my insurance network. I asked to cancel the appointment because if I stay in my network it would be half the cost to have my teeth cleaned. She said ok and we hung up.
A few weeks later I get a bill for $35 for a cancellation fee. I wrote her back explaining that I had no idea there would be a fee, if I had known I would not have cancelled and that she should have informed me. The only reply was another copy of the bill.
I did sent the money, just to avoid having them hurt my credit. But I, and my husband, will not be going back there.
