Dr. Pilla is a wonderful, kind Pediatric dentist, and Park Ave. Pediatric Dentistry does wonderful work. (I also like Ann Lambert, a partner in the practice.) However, they are very expensive and require you to pay at the time of your visit, which I did for years. The one time I sent my middle school child in by himself, they said they'd bill me. Once I finally received it they included interest charges. I went in to pay by credit card and asked that the interest charges be removed, especially since I am a long term customer and paid up as soon as the bill was brought to my attention. The billing clerk said there was nothing she could do but she would ask and refund me the interest. No refund has been made, nor will there be, I was recently told. I'm taking my business (2 kids) elsewhere. Seems all they want is $$$$ and don't care about people. I'm tired of being fleeced by Manhattan dentists.
