Dr Dickson and the hygenists were fine in previous visits, but her administrative staff were rude, unfriendly and unhelpfu each timel. I needing help for a dental emergency, was given an appointment, then 20 minutes before the alloted time, received a phone call saying that they couldn't see me until they received a fax directly from the organization offering my dental discount (not insurance) in which they participated authorizing me. I had an email of authorization that they said was insufficient. I was concerned about missing the appointment while waiting for the fax and wanted to phone for the authorization from their office and was told that it was "office policy" that I not be able to use my cell phone from their office to make the call or to use their phone to make a toll free call. I did all they requested and when I called to find out if they had received the fax was told the dentist had left for the weekend!
This kind of service is a mystery to me, but since I had previously been treated horribly by the staff, I will go elsewhere. If I am going to be paying megabucks for service, I might as well go somewhere they would like to have my business by treating me well.
