I found Dr Gober from the insurance providers list when was searching for a pediatric dentist for my son and called their office in Irving to make an appointment with him for new patient visit. When we went there today, some other pediatric dentist, one of his associates, showed up. When I asked about Dr Gober, I was told, he won't see patients come in for general check up etc., and I needed to 'specifically' ask to see him while making appointment. I really don't know what more 'specific' info I needed to provide, other than asking for an appointment with him. Also, I don't know if he is better or worse than the dentist we saw today, but it is completely unethical how they do business. I should have told on the day when I was making appointment that we won't be seeing him instead we would be seeing someone else. He may be the best dentist professionally, but I won't recommend anyone to him.
