I have been to Dr. Unchalipongse for several visits and have always found him socially awkward. I chose him as a dentist because he was covered by my insurance and was located very close to my home.
On the first visit he had found 4 cavities. I had not been to a dentist for a few years so it was possible but at the same time my dentist from the past always complemented me on how well I took care of my teeth. If anything I take better care of my teeth now than in the past. I gave Dr. U the benefit of the doubt and went through with filling these four "cavities". This was a nightmare. There seems to have been some problems when filling them. I had to return several times to have them adjusted. One still provides some discomfort several years later when eating. Another is difficult to floss around.
I have been very lenient as Dr. U is young and I assume he is new at this and have been back a few times since. But the last time was THE LAST TIME. Again he found a cavity. I understand that it is possible that I keep getting cavities but this many in such a short period suggests that something is wrong. He has never made any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong without me asking first. It's time for a new dentist
