DO NOT CHOOSE THIS DENTIST! SERIOUSLY, READ THIS! Unprofessional office environment & unprofessional Doctor. I was a patient at Dr. Chens office for several years. Initially when I started seeing Dr. Chen he was very professional and the environment was as well. However, in the last couple of years he has been very dismissive to my problems, including ignoring the toothache that I complained about, telling me that it was a gum problem instead, when I actually needed a root canal (he finally refered me to an endodontist after 6 months of waiting). He doesn't take anything seriously. He allows a disarmingly casual office environment, evident by the several times I have been kept waiting while the Hygenist (whom I had an appointment with) gossips with the office manager. He allows this sort of thing because he, perhaps, thinks that this is somehow OK. After all his employees are his friends. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DENTIST WHO DOESN'T TAKE HIS PATIENTS NEEDS SERIOUSLY, AND ARE WILLING TO WAIT WHILE THE SUPPORT STAFF GOSSIPS (IN FRONT OF YOU), THEN THIS IS THE PRACTICE FOR YOU.
