I've been through literally a dozen different dentists. About 2 years ago I met THE DENTIST I'll likely see for life. Recommended to me by family and everyone I know go to him.
Without question, he's the most caring dentist I've met. But not only regarding my dental health, but he is caring in general. He thoroughly examines my mouth every visit to find signs of any problem, including under you tongue..
I've had a deep cleaning which is typically not very comfortable, and 4 regular cleanings. I'm a 30 year old heavy smoker, and he has ensured that my health is the best it can be. My teeth and mouth are far healthier than all of my peers, and I always feel great (dental health is sadly not given enough priority to many people).
Dr. Ngo is somewhat younger, I believe he graduated from UCLA maybe 10-15 years ago. So he obviously isn't the most experienced dentist in town. However, I've never been more pleased with my results, especially since I neglect my teeth far too much.
In my experience, he does all he can to be as GENTLE as feasible, while doing a FANTASTIC and THOROUGH job. I believe he offers full exam/xrays/cleaning for new patients for around $50. If you are looking for one of the best, try him and you'll be back.
