I started going to DR Appell when he was in Belmont. I moved to Brisbane in 1990 and thought I'd get a dentist closer to my home. I chose one in SSF. I went a couple of times and was told that I had 8 cavities and that I needed 2 root canals. I was shocked that my teeth were so bad after only 1yr. Then I read an article about Dentists saying that people need work done when they really don't. Out of concern I decided to return to DR Appell. To this day I have never had a root canal.
