I had just moved to the area and chose Dr. Martin because he was close to my work. He recommended I get the white colored fillings (I had a cavity) and on the first visit he filled my cavity. The second visit was scheduled for the following week and he was to replace one silver filling with the white filling, but he replaced two "while he was in there". I didn't mind, but the secretary scheduled me for the following week. So that third visit, he replaced two fillings (and again I thought only one would be filled), but this time the anesthesia wasn't effective. He Jabbed the needle into the center of my molar after it was drilled out - then he completed the filling. This was 4 months ago and that tooth that got jabbed and filled still hurts when I put pressure on it, or drink ice water, or drink hot tea. It hurts a lot. So I am on this site looking for a new Dentist to perhaps fix it - I suspect that since he had to jab the needle into the center of my molar, I was probably due for a root canal and/or he drilled too deep. I was always his last appointment and he was always in a super huge hurry to get me finished... I don't think he necessarily did anything wrong per se... I'm just afraid to go back to him.
