Dr. Schwartz was suppose to create an overdenture to put over healthy implants that were put in by a reputable oral sugeon. Instead, he 'locked in" an old overdenture I brought in (to show him) and sent me home. I called regularly to tell him I could not remove the appliance to clean my implants that were under the overdenture. He assured me and convinced me that the appliance would loosen and it is the best procedure for the implants. I believed him because he was my dentist and he convinced me everyone thinks he is the best at what he does. I finally went to my dental surgeon to find out that the appliance was locked in and the implants were at risk. The appliance Dr. Wolf Schwartz had cemented in had to be grinded out (by another dentist) which took 7-8 hours and $5,000! and 2 stable implants failed (obviously from the locked in appliance and a huge infection resulted as well. My oral surgeon had to remove the infected bone and replace it with healthy bone, remove the failed implants and replace them. The harm this dentist did cost over $ 10,000 in repair work and he refused to give back $5,000 he was given as a deposit for an overdenture he never made. It is a debilitating horrific experience.
