This man ruined my junior year of college. He not only failed to address a severe jaw problem I had, but he also charged my family for dental work such as crowns that other dentists agreed that I never needed. After going through orthodontic treatment once, and failing to address problems I had in my mouth, I had to be put in braces again at the age of 21 and go through an extensive and painful jaw surgery that left me unable to eat for over a month and with a $40,000 hospital bill to pay off. My mother has also had her teeth fall out after work that Dr. Althoff performed on her mouth, and has had the work he has done criticized by more that 4 other dentists. This is not a joke, this man left my family thousands of dollars in the hole for work that was far from satisfactory.
