Family went to him for preventative care. Within six months my 6 year olds' (baby) molars had to be removed because they were abcessed...and, yes, on the only 2 teeth Dr Dakin put fillings into. HOWEVER, when confronted with our disappointment, Dr Dakin refunded our money (voluntered to do so)- ( only for the son - not the entire $500+ for families' care. ) We consider him to be a fine/fair/Christian person - but . . . .for dental care - - well, we are being asked to put out an additional $500+ for spacers where these teeth should have been for the next 5 or so years. Not exactly a positive experience for a young child to have to ordeal - especially given that we were trying to provide preventative care to PREVENT things like this.
