Went to Dental Walk In Clinic on Kennedy Blvd. Dr. Slaybaugh left me on dental chair with the nitrous oxide and the numbing agent in my gums while he went to extract a tooth on the patient in the room next to mine. He had to tell remind his assistant to keep an eye on me every 5 minutes to see if I was ok ... so he had to tell her twice.. When he returned I asked him if he was going to leave me again and go work on someone else .. his reply was "you don't think I'm going to sit here and wait until the area gets numb do you"? He tried and tried to remove my molar but was unable to as it was very attached to gums. We decided to stop the treatment and he left the molar pretty much open without refilling the molar until I would be able to return. I feel he could have put a temporary filling until I would return (which would be on my next day off a week later)!! I can understand him not being able to pull the toothe out but to have put a temp filling would have been helpful. Now I'm home with a throbbing and tender molar and have to find an oral surgeon. I was not charged for this visit. Front desk has friendly staff. I feel if you just have regular fillings to do..this place would be ok. Facility was clean.
