Dr. Minniear is very kind and professional, except that he seems unaware that his front-office staff is distant and unable to notify the patient when service runs late. This is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate, which makes one wonder why any patient would choose to waste their time at this practice when so many options are available in Ann Arbor and Detroit. Receptionists and some hygienists have been proven to be rude and inconsiderate, especially when running late and not notifying the patient of the status of their inadequate attempts to provide timely service (especially when the patient has made a great effort to arrive on time from an hour minimum distance). The lack of concern by the front office regarding the welfare of this long-term patient cannot be stated too strongly--it is a painful disappointment.

About Front Desk: In view of my 20 years in public relations, I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding the fact that the hygienist was running more than 15 minutes late (understandably this happens, but the situation was not made clear to me at all).

About Hygienist: Hygienist was competent, but did not apologize for being more than fifteen minutes late, making the procedure that much more uncomfortable.
