I went to Dr McIntyre because I had a cyst around a wisdom tooth, and he said that it needed to come out. He said that he could remove the cyst, and leave the tooth...or take out the tooth, if necessary.
He gave me novocain, and left me totally awake during the operation. He cut into my gum, and told me that the wisdom tooth had to come out based on what he saw. I was OK with that. He proceeded to drill apart, and pull out my tooth for over an hour. It was brutal. Fortunately, he shot me up with enough pain killer so that I didn't feel anything.
When it was all over, I was still numb, and that numbness hasn't gone away, and that was 1 1/2 years ago. He was so rough that he damaged a nerve in my jaw, and now I have to live with a numb lower jaw, which makes it difficult to speak and eat.
