Michael Aronoff essentially pulverized a back molar of mine (tooth #2) that needed only a 2-sided filling. He started by giving inappropriate advice: claimed that the resin filling recommended by another dentist would "crack" my tooth, and that a silver filling would "leach" gold from an adjacent inlay. While drilling his way through my tooth, he kept quoting prices at me: an inlay would be $1000, an onlay $1250 to $1300, a crown $1470. In other words, when this dentist looked into my mouth, he did not see my precious teeth that I have tried to take good care of all my life, but instead dollars going into his cash register. I was also discomforted by the number of patients making appointments for root canals, his brother and co-partner's specialty. In fact, he threatened me with root canal on tooth #2 but backed off. Furthermore, he does not use disclosing tape, and left decay in the cavity of what was left of tooth #2 that another dentist had to clean later. His hygienist did the quickest (10-minute) cleaning I have ever received, prompting the hygienist who worked on me next, 6-months later, to express horror over the state of my oral health (bleeding gums that had to be treated with salt water). Please do not use this dentist!
