I hesitated to spread the word about Dr. O'Connor b/c she is SF's best kept tooth secret!
She is very kind, personable and easily chatty, which always puts me at ease. Better yet, she is extraordinarily knowledgeable and patient with her explanations (I tend to ask a lot of questions.)
Most importantly, she gives the BEST cleaning I have ever had (and I have been to dentists up and down the East & West coasts). She is incredibly thorough, with her cleaning, her exam, and procedures (I had a filling done).
She has the latest cutting-edge, newest equipment and her tiny office is exquisitely decorated, clean, fresh, and comfortable.
Insurance was no problem. I payed the co-pay and received my percentage of the bill later. She did fillings for me, and they were perfect! (smooth procedure, long-lasting comfortable results, no pain)
When I visited her the first time, I was a little leary to fnd a dentist who was answering the phone and doing the cleanings herself. However, if she is still working this way, count yourself lucky because (as I said) she gives the BEST cleanings and is so very easy to work with.
