Dr. Smith did a wonderful job on my front tooth. I've had it filled to even out the color many times since I was 8 years old. Dr. Smith's looks the best and has stayed nice-looking the longest.
Unfortunately, Dr. Smith uses a third party billing agency to process claims and they have no clue what they are doing. They bother the patient instead of contacting the insurance company or consulting Dr. Smith's office staff. They say not to worry b/c things should be covered at 100%, then let the account sit for months with no action and no contact with the insurance company all the while letting interest accrue. Going back and forth between this company, Dr.Smith's office (who are actually helpful), and my insurance company - There's an extra person in the equation that doesn't need to be there and they're pretty useless from my standpoint.
I liked you, Dr. Smith, but you lost me and my husband because the billing agency you've hired doesn't know what the meaning of due diligence is or how to provide customer service. There is a lot of choice out there when it comes to dentists and it's just not worth it to deal with this kind of rigmarole every time I get a cleaning.
About Hygienist: The hygenist was nice and took her time.
