I spent a lot of time researching good dentists in Philly, and from all the reviews, Dr. Barbosa-Ruiz was near the top of my list... and I could not be happier with who I chose. She is friendly, comforting, and very honest. As a result of not going to the dentist for 5 years, I had a lot to take care of: scaling, 2 cavity fillings, removal of a supernumerary tooth, and getting a bite guard for my teeth grinding problem. Everything was pretty much painless, with the exception of one specific numbing shot (which she warned before hand that it would be painful). She tried to get everything done in as little visits as possible and everything turned out great. She seems to genuinely care about the health of your teeth. I went to see her in her Philadelphia office, which is part of the Philadelphia Dental Associates. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. I highly recommend her!
