It had been years since I had visited a dentist, when I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Van Wicklen. I was nervous, but the experience couldnt have been better. Both professional and gentle, he put me at ease while being totally thorough. The office is modern and comfortable. His staff is friendly, upbeat, helpful, and efficient. They really seem to work as a team. I went in for a regular cleaning and then to have some fillings done, but I know that they offer all kinds of other services family dentistry, orthodontic services, oral surgery, prosthetics, cosmetic services, whitening services (Im saving up). I would recommend the South Austin Dentist, Dr. Van Wicklen to everyone in the Austin area.

About Hygienist: When I make an appointment they always ask if I have a preference as to the hygienist, but I am normally booking my appointment at the last minute and am happy to just get in for a cleaning. I have had great experiences with each and every hygienist (I have been seeing Dr. Van Wicklen for years now) who has cleaned my teeth. They all seem really thorough and professional while being sweet and conversational. And they always remember me!
