Dr. Hoffman, I thought, was an answer to prayer, though his office appearance was dingy, dark, overcrowded with very old personal items. He did his own accounting and it was AWFUL!!! He did full mouth xrays that my insurance denied because it was too soon. I told him I trusted him to do what was necessary for my teeth, I would have preferred he check to see what would be covered, but since he didn't do that, I would pay for the xrays but needed a cost of a treatment plan. He never gave me one. Then I got a collection notice that I owed him $8.01. He never sent me a bil!!!! I sent a check. Then he called me saying I owed him $161. Just to get rid of him, I told him I would send a check and I did - it never cleared the bank. Now I get a statement that insurance paid $121 and I owe him $42.96. There are months worth of interest charges but he NEVER billed me!!! In my opinion, the man is NUTS!!! I stopped payment on the $161 and am sending $42.96 and hope I never hear from him again.
About Front Desk: He was the front desk staff and AWFUL!!!!
About Hygienist: He was the hygienist; said he like to do it himself because he has a better idea of the condition of the mouth - reasonable.
