The bridge was originally installed about 15 yr ago.. I had to have it removed today because it was failing due to improper design and had allowed decay to undercut the bridge itself..and because Dr Beggs left a large food pocket between the bridge and the neighboring tooth, it also became collateral damage. In addition I was sold a gold filled bridge, and the remark my current dentist made was "well its some kind of metal, but not gold"..
As an adjunct, I had to replace another of Dr. Beggs 15 yr old crowns on a molar only to find he had left a piece of cotton from the original root canal (also leaving a broken piece of the file in this same tooth - I knew it at the time) .. this had caused a massive internal decay from the inside out, and only due to the serious skills of my current dentist was the tooth able to be saved..
My wife had both of her front teeth recapped 14 yrs ago by Dr Beggs and he put them on crooked..!! We did not pay him for that obvious travesty and never went back.. he actually tried to collect until I pushed I would complain to the state board..
In my opinion based on empirical evidence in my own mouth, Dr Beggs in an incompetent practitioner, and should be barred from practice..
