Checked that took my insurance. Got good cleaning but 45min appt. took 2hrs. Said wrong to leave w/out paying bill; not sure why didn't bill insurance first. The extra time was w/a dental hygienist not the dentist, who couldn't show me a mouth diagram w/what needed to be done & the $$; just kept trying to book an appt. In my 5min exam the dentist said that needed a lot of work & no cavity was too small to put porcelain in because that's what she went to a special school for. & had a cavity on the gum line & a followup phone call told me I'd soon need a root canal if I didn't book an appt. soon. I have NO pain there even now though. She charged okay $ for my cleaning/exam but my insurance hardly paid anything & I started getting bills w/interest. When asked why told she took my insurance she said she takes ALL insurances & had asked the wrong question; she said I should have asked if she's a preferred provider. Being frustrated to have been mislead I didn't pay & she started sending me bills threatening to send me to a collection agency. For over 2yrs of this neither she nor her staff were ever once professional. So I paid but at least never got any work done; couldn't have afford all that porcelain everywhere & extra root canals.
