Dr. Chin has a beautiful office with easy parking and a friendly staff. He is an excellent dentist. Very friendly, extremely experienced and knowledgeable and uses the latest technology (digital xrays, state of the art equipment). I think that if you had a complicated dental problem, he could handle it with ease.
However, he is not cheap. If the work is covered by insurance it's not too bad, but he wasn't in the provider network for our dental insurance, so we ended up paying a bit more.
Dr Chin and his staff are great, but we stopped going to him because his billing system was too complicated. We'd pay when we got treated (they'd estimate what the out of pocket would be), then we'd often get another bill after they got paid by insurance (because the estimate would be off). It seemed like we were making at least 2 payments for the same visit and sometimes when I'd go in for my visit, I'd have to pay for the outstanding amount on my husband's visit or he would pay for me when he would go in. It got really confusing and annoying.
It's been a couple years since we've been to him, so it's possible that they may have improved their billing system. If so, then I would recommend Dr. Chin without hesitation.
