Implant followed four years of lingual braces (from Dr. Mario Paz) and a tough extraction of an impacted tooth two years prior by Dr. Posek (another excellent doc in the same practice that has since retired).
Biggest surprise was that other than some sensitivity to hot/cold I had no post-op pain. I didn't even take pain pills. Not one. His manner is relaxed and I have confidence in his work. So much that I flew from Washington, DC (my new home) back to Redondo Beach just for the surgery.
Procedure involved general anesthesia and was quick. One week later and I'm healing fast. I appreciate the work and will come back in the future if I need the help.
As for price, I pay everything myself and didn't find it costly. That said, I have no idea what the "normal" rates for these things are. I suspect you can find cheaper, but why? Really...this is someone who is going to drill in your head.
Office is clean and efficient. I've seen "health spas" and have never been impressed. I like offices that are all about the patient: get in, get fixed, get out. That's what I had here.
