Dr. Chang was a nice man, but this review is not about his personality. This is about his dental practice, and sadly, it is very poor. Yes, Dr. Chang seems like a smart person. However, just being smart doesn't make you a good dentist. Dr. Chang is very busy. Too busy for most of his patients. He spends only 2-3 minutes with his patient while his "nurses" attend to the patients the rest of the time (40+ minutes) . I don't think the "nurses" were fully qualified to perform any medical procedure, but they did anyways. The hygenist was a nice person. Pretty thorough. However, the worst part of the office is the office manager. She would thrust documents in your face and have you sign them as you lay in the chair numb with novacaine. I asked her for the HIPAA material that they are legally responsible to give to each patient was, and she told me she'd give it to me a later. She never did. Worst of all, she told me a procedure would be covered by my insurance, which wasn't, and ended up costing me over $1000.00. When you first enter the office and give them the benefit of the doubt, they will walk all over you. I'd advise anyone reading this to stay away from Dr. Chang's practice.
