Dr. Odle extracted two molars on Wed. Jan.2,2013. His bedside manner was "curt", upon performing the first extraction, the tooth broke off and he threw the instrument on the tray. He asked for a tool then began drilling. He and the assistant were clearly aware of my anxiety. He said to me "Lady , if you would keep your mouth open , this would go alot faster!" The assistant was kind and reassuring. He was clearly agitated and frustrated. Upon completion he just walked away. The assistant got my husband to come back, to be by my side. She said that I would only need an NSAID for pain, I heard him say order Lortab 5mg. He gave me RX for "10mg" Lortab. The assistant told me that I did receive a cut on my lip in the process. I understand what is involved in procedures, I am a nurse. I am not happy that I look like I got punched! my lip and chin are swollen w/bruising. This is NOT normal!!! I have finally found the owners of Coast Dental and am filing a complaint w/Lauren Key VP of Intelident today! My daughter took a picture of my mouth, and everyone at work wants to know "what Happened!!!"
About Front Desk: The staff was awesome! my assistant was kind and concerned for me.
