The surgery with Dr. Miles went as well as could be. He recommended that I only need 3 wisdom teeth removed, so that made me feel better already knowing that he was looking out for my best interests. The surgery was fine, especially since I got the nitrous gas and lidocaine shots in my gums. There was a bit of a struggle with my teeth, perhaps since I'm 28 and my roots are longer than those of a teenager. My recovery went fine, though I did have lingering jaw pain almost a month after the surgery. When I spoke to Dr. Miles about it, he at first seemed a bit condescending in his tone, especially when I expressed concern. However, aside from his strange attitude, I would recommend him to anyone.
On another note, watch out for his staff. I used both my dental and medical insurance and was supposed to receive money for whatever United gave back to them, but Connie B. figured I would not notice. Once I called to reclaim my money, she played stupid for a bit until finally accepting, though she hung up on me in anger. I would suggest that Dr. Miles hire a professional manager, one who understands the ethics of managing a medical facility.
