I went to Dr. Momtaheni for two implants--insertion of pegs.
A molar had to be extracted first and a bridge removed. The original procedure was done on July 3, with a follow-up on July 30. I phoned to see the doctor, before a scheduled appt. because my jaw was still painful. I have four implants done on the upper jaw by another dentist, considered one of the best in the field. The difference in competence and pain have been notable. He was inefficient in administering novocain. I have experienced more pain than I expected from my earlier experience. My regular dentist will finish consisting of teeth replacement and bridge. I went to Dr. Momtaheni, because his cost seemed less than others I checked. I probably did save about $500-1,000, but only because I forego some options.
I would never go to this dentist again. It will be some time before the success of my treatment will be determined.
