I went to Dr. Foto to have my wisdom teeth extracted. They took x-rays quickly and then I went to talk to the dental assistent(who looked quite young) who informed me that "the doctor would highly recommend to have a retained baby tooth/permenent canine tooth removed at the same time" I was shocked because I would be left with a gaping hole in my upper front teeth and as I would be getting braces in a few months and not having that permenent canine tooth there to be brought down at that time, it would cost me even more money and leave with paying for a fake tooth to put in its place. Thankfully, I already knew about this complication and that it was fixable especially with braces. When I was ushered into another room I met with Dr. Foto and he seemed very nice and funny. I asked him about the retained baby tooth etc. he said if I was getting braces it was not a issue and he also took the time to answer a question about my overbite and if jaw surgery would be needed. The surgery went ok, except I was supposed to be put under and it did'nt happen until after they started to extract my first wisdom tooth-felt drowsy, but still awake. I was disappointed in the dental assistent giving ill advise on the extraction of the permenent tooth
