I had a full set of invisalign over an 18 month period. My teeth look beautiful now and I get lots of compliments on them. Cost was reasonable given that Dr. Paz is outstanding in his field and highly acclaimed. I was surprised at what a gentle, non-shaky touch he had and he seemed to always know where to take my treatment next. A few times I called him and he also told me what was happening thus allaying any concern I had. The office staff is first class and most of them have been with him many years. It is a happy, joyful office and I always looked forward to my next treatment knowing where it would end. I can't think of a better orthodontist in the nation and I know he was President of the American Orthodontic Society and lectured all over the world on lingual braces. I know that many celebrities have their teeth done by Dr. Paz and for good reason- go with the best if you want to look your best!

HORRIBLE MISTAKE OF CHOOSING THIS DOCTOR for my orthodontic needs. After 3 1/2 years of lingual braces, my teeth were not straight, and I ended up having severe jaw pain, which I never had before. I am currently with another orthodontist, who is fixing all of Dr. Paz's mistakes. He is a complete waste of time and money, and he really only cares about making his money and does not care about the well being of his patients. If I could upload my after pictures on here I would to show you how my teeth ended up after Mario Paz's braces. I would also not send my child here. Most of his assistants are ok, but one of his male assistants is extremely creepy and too close for comfort.

I continue to suffer tremendous stress and physical pain from Dr. Paz' failed treatment. I would have been better off if I had never been treated at all. My bite was highly functional when I went to him initially, but I had a TMJ problem. He tried to treat the TMJ and destroyed my bite. (Incidentally, he never warned me beforehand that the TMJ treatment could destroy my bite and force me into braces.) The braces turned into another nightmare due to Dr. Paz' negligence and the crucial mistakes made by his assistant while adjusting my orthodontic wires. (I learned after it was too late that Dr. Paz does not do the orthodontic work himself. He has low-paid dental assistants do it for him.) Dr. Paz walked away from my treatment and left my bite so dysfunctional that I cannot chew food. He also damaged 7 teeth. Only a few teeth on the right side of my mouth actually touch when I bite down. The rest of my upper and lower teeth don't touch at all. I suffer chronic tooth pain as a result of the haphazard wire adjustments that were made during my last office visit in 2009, before he severed the relationship. Having already paid Dr. Paz in full, I no longer have the money to get the orthodontic work redone properly.

Dr Paz totally screwed up my teeth and bite. I had overly expensive lingual on top and ceramic on bottom. My teeth moved and while I insisted his retainer was NOT keeping my teeth from touching he refused to listen. This despite 3 dentists telling me to the contrary. I was forced to spend an additional $6k in bonding to try and undo the damage done by Paz. Furious with him is beyond an understatement. And his staff should learn if they want to gossip and be catty about a patient, they should have the good sense and grace to at least wait until the patient is out of earshot. I have had nothing but problems since Dr Paz put braces on my teeth including serious jaw problems. I would never recommend him.
