The dentist was nice but I Didnt like his assistant which is the front desk too. she waisted a lot of time talking about religion and politic instead of doing my teeth cleaning. i almost got an anxiety attack because she didnt stop talking. and even thou she talk about christ, she shouldn't be mixing her job with religion and politics themes, its not professional. The worst experience i ever had. When i told her i was getting late she started to clean my teeth all hurried, i feel she didnt do a good job.

My Experience: Exam & Consultation, X-Rays

I have no serious problems with my teeth, so I see Dr. Sykes only for checkups, general cleaning, and some minor cosmetic stuff. My insurance pays for everything, so to me he is cheap. His facility is very nice, new, and outfitted with all new high-tech equipment. The personnel who work there are great. My only negative might be that., at other dentists, they really take those tools and work hard on my buildups, but at Dr. Sykes they seem almost too gentle. Makes me wonder if they are getting everything off. I guess if you are squeemish and don't like them scraping your teeth hard, this is a positive.

My experience with this dental office left me with the impression that their practice is to overcharge patients and then stonewall when the patient tries to get a refund. The office manager is either a brazen thief or a complete idiot. She overcharged me on the deductible, lied about their status as a network provider, ignored the insurance carrier when they tried to straighten out the situation, and generally made it clear that she had no intention of trying to do the right thing. After 6 months of failing to get any co-operation from the dental office the insurance carrier refunded the overcharge saying that if they ever submitted another claim to them, they would get their money back at that time.

I hate dental pain, tech made nice sounds but didn't care. They 'recommend' add-ons, mouthwash, flouride gel - I'm not going back.
