I was first a patient over 34 years ago. As a young adult, Dr. Kamisugi made my experience of having braces, virtually painless. He was and still is an exceptional professional. Dr. Kamisugi provided communications essential to my treatment. His chair side manner extended beyond the techniques of the process, always engaging with regards to any number of topics, but specifically topics about me and my profession as a chef. My treatments were complete, I was a elated. Going in with a horrific overbite, suddenly I had a smile I could be proud of and I could enunciate clearly. Thirty-four years have passed and I found myself back in my favoroite doctor's office. After 34 years, my "fixed appliance" dislodged itself from one side. It was like a deja vous experience. I arrived and was greeted as if it were my first visit, so many years before. Dr. Kamisugi greeted and welcomed me back like a family member who had been away. He got to work and immediately repaired the problem, updated impressions for a new retainer, a progress review with the staff and a whitening appointment is set. Thirty-four years later and my teeth are still perfect. Dr. Kamisugi is indeed the ultimate professional, a "Doctors-Doctor!" I continue to recommend him.

About Front Desk: The staff were quick to respond to my request for an appointment. Exceptional guest services in this office, truly reflective of Dr. Kamisugi's philosophy and who he is as a positive role model. Thirty-four years ago and today, I am more than pleased once again with the service and the outcome. Hospitality and guest services are my business, so I have very high expectations. The people who make up this office are all professional and always make me feel as if I were at home. "Ho‘okipa"

We've had a wonderful experience with Dr. Arthur Kamisugi. My son was terrified of dentists so I didn't know how we would get his teeth straitened with his anxieties. Dr. Art took my son "Liko" in to his office and showed him various tools that he worked with and gave him the guided tour. He talked with him and made him feel comfortable before any services were done. After Liko got his braces on, it was amazing how he started to look forward to his appointments! He just got his braces off and his teeth look fantastic! Liko has a new confidence within himself. Dr. Art was my orthodontist along with 7 of my siblings as well. We all love him! When the idea of braces came up, I took my son for a consultation with another orthodontist whose office was nearby, I just didn't feel comfortable going there and knew that we'd be returning to Dr. Kamisugi for my son.

About Front Desk: ***** Relda has been extremely helpful with insurance challenges! Whenever I've asked questions, Dr. Kamisugi's staff has been very informative about what they do at each appointment. Both Dr. Kamisugi and his staff have been very friendly too!

Terrible chair-side manner and not customer service oriented. He reuses the same wire that has been in your mouth - literally for months, if the wire does not need to be changed. This is my second time wearing braces and they were supposed to come off after a year or so and it has been almost 2 and 1/2 years. During the past 2 1/2 years, the staff turnover has been so great that out of the 5-8 staff, only 2 of the original staff remain.

Dr. Kamisugi was very nice and friendly. I like that he told me alot of about the braces and answered all of my questions.
