we've found that those that work at Dr. Ries office ACT nice and sugary but are unwilling to work effectively with other dentists and insurance...she came as a recommendation from our dentist and has left us wishing that we would've discussed her with other parents before committing to care... Dr. Ries seems to likes to do braces in TWO phases which ends up costing the patient double and therefore had our child in some form of braces/treatment for a total of 5 years.

About Front Desk: worried more about money than the patient

Treatment failure. It bothers me that Barb Ries doesn't wear a mask like all oral health professionals do. Even her assistants wear them. I prefer that the professional I see not breathe into my mouth during adjustments. She tightened the chain on my braces so painfully tight that it popped off my impacted tooth, while driving away from the office. I had to pay for another exposure surgery because of that. pain, distress, and thousands of dollars wasted. If I went there as a child, I would have never went to another dentist office or ortho ever again. SCARRED FOR LIFE, big mistake, never should have went there.

About Front Desk: Ask for Brenda, she is the nicest one there by far.

I am paying a fortune for Invisiline Braces. I feel like I wasn't given a choice! I have been wearing them 7 mo. I am in constant distress over them, Dr. Ries doesn't really care.....

AFTER A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH ANOTHER ORTHODONTIST, DR. RIES AND STAFF PUT OUR CHILD AT EASE AND ARE NOW GIVING HER THE BEST AND CORRECT ORTHODONTIC CARE. THANK YOU FOR BEING AN HONEST ORTHODONTIST AND NOT ONE THAT JUST CARES ABOUT CASHING OUR MONTHLY CHECK.

Dr. Ries and her whole staff were always pleasant, courteous, concerned and caring. Each visit, Dr. RIes made it a point to personally do part of my care herself, and she always took time to chat with me, even when her office was busy! Her staff has some of the nicest people I've met, and I have recommended her to two of my friends and will continue to do so! (She even sent me FLOWERS to thank me for the referrals). My smile is prettier now than I ever imagined it could be. I don't know the other reviewer's whole story, but I cannot imagine Dr. RIes or her staff ever being anything other than caring! (as far as cost--it was no more costly than any other good orthodontist would be)

My experience with Dr. Ries has left a bad taste in my mouth! At first she seemed quite concerned and helpful but as the treatment continued (and payment was completed) she was uninterested in my dental progress. Many times I needed to insist that she examine my orthodontic apparatus in order to keep progress on track. The overall procedure took over a year and a half longer than she estimated. I strongly feel this was due to her inattentiveness. In the end, she decided that the procedure was completed even though several of my teeth were not positioned correctly. I am now having to pay another orthodontist to complete the procedure for which Dr. Ries was paid several thousand dollars.
