My experience with Dr. Hung was absolutely STELLAR. Dr. Hung is not only a professional of the highest caliber, but an all-around good-hearted person. He exudes positivity no matter the time of day. Unlike in other doctors' office, I never had to wait to be seen by Dr. Hung. He runs his office efficiently and he is very respectful of his patients' time.
I have friends who, like me, underwent Invisalign treatment, but with other doctors. When I told them about my experience with Dr. Hung, they wished they had known about him earlier! Here's one way Dr. Hung differed from my friends' orthodontists- I very much appreciated Dr. Hung's discretion in where to place the plaster nodules on my teeth (when you start the Invisalign treatment, small plaster nodules are placed on a few of your teeth so the Invisalign can "lock" in and stay in place as you wear it). Even when I took my Invisalign off (e.g. for eating), the plaster nodules on my teeth were hardly visible. I could not say the same for my friends who received treatment elsewhere.
It is no mystery why Dr. Hung is recognized every year as an Invisalign Elite Premier Provider. Thank you Dr. Hung for correcting my smile and for being such a wonderful presence throughout the process!

Dr. Hung did my invisalign and I highly recommend him. Before going to Dr. Hung, I saw three other orthodontists but none fully answered all my questions and concerns like he did. And after treatment started, he was always friendly, informative, and energetic. When I called the office with questions, they were always helpful and efficient. I am very happy with my invisalign results and I highly recommend Dr. Hung.

I approached Dr. Hung to correct major crowding of my lower teeth, and minor crowding in the upper with Invisalign.
During my consultation I was impressed with his ability of explaining (sometimes evening drawing) the structure and physiology of moving teeth. Before I began treatment, he emphasized the importance of attaining a proper bite, focusing on functionality and balance over aesthetics. I was disappointed to hear that my teeth wouldn’t be perfectly straight but appreciated his honesty by not making false promises. He also stressed to need for greater diligence (over traditional braces) in terms of wearing time and changing retainers to ensure continued progress during my treatment.
He advised me to remove all four of my wisdom teeth; recommended expert oral surgeons, he even forwarded my CAT scan (for a second opinion; my lower wisdom teeth were close to nerves) and arranged a consultation with one of these experts. I couldn’t be more greatly for his support during and after the ordeal of pulling these teeth; he soundly advised me based on the recommendations of my chosen oral surgeon.
His clinic employed the latest technology to capture a virtual model of my teeth and thus I never experienced fitting issues with any of my retainers.
After my bite was corrected I was thrilled with the ease with which I could chew and the slight tension in my jaw, which I barely noticed, subsided. He further proceed to perform occlusal adjustment to smooth the edges on my upper and lower front teeth, this greatly improved aesthetics.
Financially, the cost was competitive considering the high level of work done. A word of caution regarding clinics running “specials”, if it seems too good to be true, then it is, I’ve nearly committed to other clinics offering half-off specials and making false promises just to get a sale, I assure you this is not one of them. If you think the cost is too high, I believe that you can negotiate with billing for a better price. They offer an interest free payment plan that I didn’t see anywhere else.
Regarding his staff, I’ve gotten tremendous satisfaction from them especially Dave, Albert and Michelle. Dr. Hung, himself, always greeted me with a smile, a firm hand-shake and words of encouragement.
Overall the level of expertise and service cannot be matched; I highly recommend Dr. Hung to anyone looking for the foremost Orthodontist.

I went to Dr. Hung upon recommendation from my dentist for an Invisalign consultation. The office a bit small but is very clean and organized, which if you’ve ever been to a doctor’s office in NYC, you know that is definitely not always the case. The front staff is extremely polite and friendly. As for Dr. Hung, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge, expertise and very friendly chair side manner. The office was helpful in submitting my insurance request (which was fantastic considering the cost of the treatment). I would 100% recommend Dr. Hung’s services. Not only was it a pleasant experience but it was thrilled with the results!

I just had a 6-month Invisalign done by Dr. Hung right before moving out of the country. He is patient, a good communicator, excellent at walking me through every step and setting my expectations, very personable, and very experienced. He made recommendations that were case-specific to me that other orthos I previously consulted did not bring up.

Dr. Hung did a great job for my invisalign treatment. I am very satisfied. My teeth are straight now.
I especially appreciate Dr. Hung was able to achieve the best effects with minimum invasion to my teeth. My teeth look great. During the whole process, Dr. Hung has been encouraging and keeps reminding me to wear the braces as he instructed.
Each time I went to see Dr. Hung, I was very well treated. Dr. Hung is highly knowledgeable, energetic, responsible, confident and polite. I feel very comfortable. I have visited several top dentists in New York and decided to do invisalign with Dr. Hung.

I met with Dr. Hung after having consultations with a lot of other NYC orthodontists. I wanted to correct some spacing in my upper teeth. What first struck me about him was that he didn't try to make me feel like the smile I already had was ugly, the way others had. He was so respectful, gentle, and extremely thorough. I literally felt like I was his only patient, even though he's very busy. I trusted him immediately.
He explains everything so you really understand the entire process. He returns your calls immediately. It's easy to set up appointments--his staff is hands-down the most delightful office staff I've ever encountered, and he seems to always be running on time. You feel almost pampered going there, and it's never uncomfortable, painful, or anxiety-provoking.
Best of all, he's a great motivator. Especially with Invisalign, you really need to be motivated to wear them all the time, and he's a cheerleader. He really made me want to wear them and do my part.
AND he's not as expensive as the other orthodontists I met with. There are no surprises to his fees, it's reasonable and affordable, as far as orthodontia goes. I recommend him very, very highly. I can't even conceive of a better orthodontist.

I'm here to say thank you to Dr. Hung. I'm now on my 22nd set of Invisalign braces, only 3 sets left. But my life is totally different already. I now have confidence to smile and I don't have to use my hand to cover my mouth when I speak.
Dr. Hung is a very professional orthodontist and he cares about every each one of his clients. I can tell from the way he treats people in the clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Hung. He can provide you a better smile, a better life.
