very disappointed years after my daughter had braces and orthodontics by Dr. Fano & Staff we have learned that damage was done to several molars. We have an excellent dentist / oral surgeon who has told us that the tooth that is badly fractured happened as a result of very rough orthodontics. I do vividly remember my 13 -14 year old daughter in tears after appointments. I had braces myself but had an excellent orthodontist and zero damage to any of my teeth. My son 5 years younger than my daughter also had a good orthodontic experience. I complained to Dr. Fano about this multiple times and now this........no excuse.
About Front Desk: His assistants were terrible - granted this was 20 years ago but again permanent damage to her teeth, this is terrible. Be very careful who you choose, as parents we thought we were making a good choice and we have learned we did not.

Dr. Fanno is extremely unprofessional and rude to staff and patients alike. I had lost my retainer and when I came in to get a new one he said I needed to get braces on my teeth again when I am certain the problem could have been fixed with a retainer. When I finally got my braces off he applied a bonded retainer to my teeth. He made an error in the application of it because my retainer came off not even 2 months after I had it placed and I had to pay more money to get a new retainer and fix his mistake. His entire demeanor is very unprofessional and rude. He made comments about my family members personal health matters in front of an entire room of patients and staff. I am extremely dissatisfied and I will never go back to him.

My first contact with Dr. Fanno was through my dentist for my oldest son while he was in middle school. My son had braces, jaw surgery, then the removal of the braces. My son is now a Captain in the USAF, and has a beautiful smile and the self confidence that goes along with being an officer.
At the age of 52, I decided to check with Dr. Fanno on my bite. I was from the first generation of braces that was somewhat the guinea pigs. After a consultation and xrays, I got braces once again. He said 18 months, and 18 months it was! Despite the discomfort that comes with adjusting the teeth, Dr. Fanno had a great sense of humor, was spot on adjusting my teeth and bite! As a teacher, students wondered why I had braces at my age... I said I planned on living a lot longer and wanted a great smile that would last! Thanks to Dr. Fanno and his expertise... I have that great smile!
I would recommend Dr. Fanno to others of all ages! In fact, one of my coworkers was so impressed with my smile that she is going to him at the age of 54! It is never too late to have a great smile!

Dr. Fanno has restored confidence in my smile with his outstanding orthodontic talents. Even being an "older" patient and reluctant to go through the process of having braces, Dr. Fanno instantly put me at ease with his personalized chair-side manner and amazing attention to detail. Whenever a problem with my braces arose, Dr. Fanno has always been available to discuss and immediately solve the issue. Many calls were even on his personal time, which really showed me his commitment to my well being. In addition, the rapport that he developed with my dentist and oral surgeon was second to none (they constantly remind me that he was an excellent choice).
The staff impresses me with every appointment. I could immediately recognize that they really enjoy working alongside of Dr. Fanno. In turn, it is evident that he respects the work that they do and he continues to encourage them as professionals. The staff always takes an interest in you as a person, not just a patient. They, as well as Dr. Fanno, constantly strive to keep pain at a minimum and personalization at a premium. I would, without a doubt, recommend his practice to anyone seeking an amazing smile!

My experience with at Fanno orthodontics was wonderful. I grind my teeth at night, and he made a comfort splint for me. The whole procedure was painless, and the doctor and his staff were very kind and professional. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fanno!

Dr. Fanno actually made my teeth look worse, then to correct his error in making my teeth stick out like a donkey, he wanted me to pay even more money. Please choose another orthodontist...
