AWFUL orthodontist! My teeth have moved since even WITH permanent retainers. AND one of those retainers popped off twice due to her shoddy work! When you go back and have her fix it she WILL charge you. No matter how bad her previous work was! What a waste of money! Go elsewhere! She is rude and definitely does not care the slightest about her patience, all she cares about is getting every penny she can from you. She will pretend to be nice until she has the metal glued in your mouth and your stuck with her... its like ransomware, but in your mouth. What an unpleasant and greedy woman.
About Front Desk: Never had any issues with the front desk, they are just out to do their job. have to do what the boss lady says. I can't say they ever really went out of their way to be all that welcoming, but they were also never rude or mean. so will give a neutral review of them.

my teeth started separating shortly after removing my braces. she was incredibly rude to me multiple times. go elsewhere I wouldn't recommend!!!!!

I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Dr. Tretter can be rude and condescending. Treatment is S-L-O-W and she doesn't stand behind her work. When they are out of braces she uses a "permanent retainer" that breaks or becomes unattached several times a year and then charges $100+ to fix it. My kids teeth have moved (a lot) and I was told by Dr. Shelley Tretter that it was their fault and was charged more to fix them. Unfortunately, they're still crooked and I am left very frustrated. Don't waste your money on this practice. I have friends and family who have gone to other Orthodontists and have not had any of these issues and their kids were out of braces in half the time of mine. Don't waste your money on this practice.

Shelley can be condescending and unprofessional. She has repeatedly spoken to my daughter in a rude manner which is even more ridiculous after the fact that she has had my daughter wearing braces for over six years. She once told my daughter that her treatment was costing HER a fortune. I do not recommend her whatsoever and I know that there are many other qualified orthodontists in the area who can do a much better job in terms of length of treatment and customer service.

Braces. She can be condescending at times and it seems like she cares more about the money than about the care of her patient. Her staff is reasonably nice.

I've been going to Dr. Tretter for 10 yrs now. I just go in every now and then for a retainer check up since I long ago stopped wearing braces. She is an EXCELLENT doctor and has an EXCELLENT staff. You will not find a better orthodontist!
