Every time I get my braces tightened, about two days afterwords the bands holding in my wire snap and then my wire falls out , making my teeth worse than prior to when I had braces. When I told them this I received no apologies. Also sometimes the bands get stuck and awkwardly twist before failing out, I told them this and they looked into my mouth and said the fixed it. When I looked into the mirror it was still the same. I sincerely regret choosing this location to get braces. Another reason for my complaints is when I asked one of the aids or trainees (I don't know what their called) if they could double check my braces (because they messed up again) she replied to me in such a low mumbled voice I could not understand a word she was saying. The reason I wrote this review, is because I want to warn the public that if they care about their teeth do not go and ruin them here.
About Front Desk: The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and sweet and I could understand them completely, I wish the rest of the office was more like them.

i had a very a pleasent experience thus far.dr. hickman himself is very friendly and puts people at ease.however i did have problems with soonercare not notifing myself or dr.hickmans office when approval was made.but of all the doctors that accept medicaid (and believe me there is very few)dr.hickman is the only one who could make an appointment the year you call(this isnt a joke)most of the doctors only take so many medicaid cases a year,so hooray for dr. hickman one of the few who belive the under privilaged should be able to recieve the same benefits of braces as wealthy pagent girls whose teeth might be a little less than perfect.

The dentist has called our child stupid for insisting he change gloves between patients. The dentist washes his hands with the gloves on. This procedures breaks down the gloves and contributes to the spread of germs. He is very obstinate about not changing the gloves between patients.
