As a child my mother took me to Dr. Murray. The pain and anxiety that I experienced there causes me to dislike dentist work. As an adult. I now go to a dentist that understands my sensitive teeth and gives me extra pain medication to make up for it. Please listen to your children when they say it hurts and nothing is done about it. I enjoyed the equipment they had in there office like tv's on the ceiling. But did not appreciate the pain and lack of sensitivity towards pain.

My parents took me to this pediatric dentist when I was younger. He did a good job with my brother, but was horrible with me. He told me I didn't need braces, but I was then told by 2 different cosmetic dentists that I did need them. I ended up having minor jaw problems, that would be getting worse if I hadn't had braces. My teeth were relatively straight in the front, but my bite was really off and had already started causing jaw jam. My problem was so bad I couldnt have the clear braces. I recieved braces when I was 16 and had them until I went to college. All of my prom and graduation pictures have braces in them, I spent my first year at college with braces, and it all could have been avoided if he had spotted this when most everyone has braces, in middle school. His staff was great, but definitly get other opinions when it comes to orthodontics. I felt humiliated because of my braces, for the same reasons many adults choose not to have braces.

So far I'm pleased with Dr. Murray's office. The biggest complaint is that their prices seem high and I sometimes wonder if they're recommending procedures for profit or patient need.

Dr. Murray has treated all three of my Daughters and based on his care my daughters have wonderful teeth. In fact I'd taken my oldest daughter to another Pediatric Destist and they recommended braces, removal of teeth, thousands of dollars worth of care. Dr. Murray made an accessment, removed a couple of teeth and when the new teeth grew in, no braces needed. The staff Dr. Murray has is wonderful, they make the children comfortable and place them at ease. I wished more dental offices were this service minded. My only negative comment would be the cost. They would do only one part of the moutj, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Great service, my kid loves him! I know several other moms who take their children to see him, even though he lives far away from our residences. Dr. Murray is definitely worth the drive!

My son (4 yrs) has had to have cavities filled on two prior occasions, with another office and both experiences were not very good. Once we got over the initial separation, the treatment went well and I got no complaints from him. The staff is positive and considerate towards their young patients, and I feel at ease with them working on my children. My sister referred us to Dr. Murray's office and after mentioning the visit to several of my friends, it turns out they all were familiar with this office and are active patients.

The dentists and hygienists are exceptionally nice and friendly. My children enjoy their visits with them. However, they have a policy to schedule appointments 20 minutes before you will actually see the dentist. So, if you are on time for your appointment, you are "punished" by having to wait for at least 20 minutes to see anyone. If you are seeing the hygienist and dentist, you could wait for awhile between those visits. My initial visit with my 4 year old took over an hour and a half. That was for x-rays, a cleaning, and a brief visit with the dentist, but mostly we just waited in the lobby. Also, the receptionists call to remind you and ask you to call back and confirm your appointment. If you get the answering service (after hours) they are generally rude and impatient. I do continue to take my children to this dentist, however, I feel they could work on being more considerate of their patient's time, and appreciative patients who arrive on time for their appointments.
