We are very thankful that we found Dr. Cheryl Lee. My daughter was two when she had several cavities that needed to be fixed. We were told by other dentists that in order to save her teeth, she would need root canal and that they needed to put her to sleep during the procedure. Since we were very uncomfortable about the idea of general anesthesia, we went to Dr. Lee for 2nd opinion. Dr. Lee was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of using general anesthesia versus using restraining blanket during treatment for our little one. After hearing Dr. Lee's detailed explanation, it became easy for us to make the decision. We chose to have the treatment done without the general anesthesia. We went back to Dr. Lee's office the 2nd time to have our daughter's teeth fixed. My daughter did cry and struggle but she was fine as soon as they finished the work. The best part was that she didn't need the root canal! Dr. Lee saved her teeth by putting in the fillings; that was almost a year ago. Since then we have gone back twice for routine checkup. No more cavities! My daughter is now three years old. She was always happy to see Dr. Lee. Dr Lee and her staff were very friendly and always made sure that my daughter was comfortable during her checkup. I highly recommend Dr. Lee to parents who are looking for the best pediatric dentist in town.

My 3-year-old son had 11 cavities (most of them quite big). We were told by another dentist that he needed general anesthesia to have all the cavities filled. I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of using general anesthesia on a young child. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Cheryl Lee to us as her children have been Dr. Lee's patients for many years and they have been very happy with the help they received from Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee was just like what my friend described. She was very patient, honest and knowledgeable. She gave me many options and explained each option patiently to me. I then decided to have my son's cavities filled without the general anesthesia. Although my son was quite anxious (so was I) initially, Dr. Lee and her assistants put him (and me) at ease quickly and my son cooperated very well. All of our visits went smoothly. My son just returned to Dr. Lee for his six-month checkup and his teeth were all fine. He was very happy to revisit Dr. Lee's office and that reassurred me what a great dentist Dr. Lee is and how wonderful her staff menbers are. I have since referred two of my firends to see Dr. Lee.

My six-year-old daughter was afraid of dental visits until she visited Dr. Cheryl Lee for the first time in October 2008. She has been seeing Dr. Lee since. Dr. Lee is soft spoken, patient, and with excellent skills in communicating with young children. She always has a smile on her face and that calms my daughter quickly during every visit. She explains the procedure to my daughter in ways that's easy for a six- year-old to to understand. My daughter now thinks going to get her teeth checked or cleaned by Dr. Lee is "fun". I think that's the highest compliment any pediatric dentist can receive from her patients. Dr. Lee has been a faculty member at the University of California San Francisco Dental School for many years. Her knowledge in dental care is outstanding.

My daughter is four years old and this was her very first appointment. It was totally stress free, very kid friendly environment. Dr. Lee and her hygenist are great with small kids and my daughter was instantly comfortable with them. The front desk personal were very kind and helpful. The website provided the enrollment forms so we were able to come in ready. Overall we had an excellent experience.

When we moved to Palo Alto, we heard about Dr. Lee's great reputation through our pediatrician. My three children (age 10, 7 and 4) have used many different dentists due to my husband's frequent job relocation. I must say that Dr. Lee is the best pediatric dentist we have ever had. She is very patient with parents and the kids. She explains to me in details about the procedures and our options. She is always gentle and warm with my children. She makes sure that they are relaxed and ready before she proceeds with any procedure. We all love Dr. Lee and would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking a great pediatric dentist!

It is probably not fair to use the word "good" or " bad ". Plus I am not a dental professional to judge the procedure and result. I'll give the facts: After she put 3 metal crowns on my kid's baby teeth, I went to another dentist. So the fourth tooth was spared. Truly the "Queen of Root Canals".
