Dr. Fidel is a competent dentist however I question her choice of support staff particularly her dental assistant(s).

About Front Desk: I have been bringing my daughter to Dr. Fidel for nine years and was very pleased with Dr. Fidel's care for her up until the last 2-3 years. Dr. Fidel hired some new staff and unfortunately, they are not as professional as she is in their interaction with the patients, and I'm not sure Dr. fidel is aware about this either but she could be. There is one assistant in particular (who I will not identify at this time) who PURPOSELY mispronounces my daughter's name which completely shocked my kid. She had been a loyal patient of Dr. Fidel's for years. Fortunately for us, we have moved on to a more customer service and professional dental environment where the staff don't seek to intimidate or try to molest a child's self esteem. What I would suggest the staff at Dr. Fidel's office with schemes to harm a child's self worth by messing up their name in front of a room full of patients or commenting/comparing them about their size... is just do your job for god's sake.

I know this doctor: 9 years

Her bedside manner is good, but office staff is poor. It took 2 months to notify me that my son's x-rays showed 3 cavities. When I asked about the delay, there was no apology offered. She also pressured me to have my teeth bleached several times after I had already told her that I was not interested. She replaced my mercury fillings with the white fillings. I then got a cavity under one of the fillings and now need a root canal.
