This was our first experience with a pediatric dentist when my child was 3-years-old. The office refused to allow me back with my calm, well behaved child which I thought was very strange. My child was tied to a board for preventative sealants-which I also thought was odd. I finally stopped going to this dentist after similarly odd experiences on all of our 3 visits. I also felt bullied into expensive treatments, like the sealants that were supposedly more expensive since would replace them in the future at no cost if necessary. Our new dentist reports that my kids have great teeth & the cost is reasonable for complete treatment. He has never needed to tie any of my kids to a board for any treatment. I am very glad to have left Dr. Haugseth & am sorry I put my 3-year-old through dental visits with her.

I have been taking my son to Dr Haugseth for 6 years. Usually his visits consist of cleanings and x-rays and on ocaasion he gets his sealants replaced. I love her office and staff. Everyone is nice to my son and I and he enjoys getting his teeth cleaned. We have always had good experiences at her office and I would recommend her office to anyone who wants a dentist who cares about their children.

I have been taking my daughter to Post Oak Pediatric Dentistry for over 2 years. From the very first visit this office has been awesome! Dr. Haugseth and her staff know how to make children feel comfortable at the dentist. They have made it a completely different experience for my daughter then when I was a kid. My daughter loves going to see Dr. Haugseth and most of all she loves Maggie! The staff really knows how to make my daughter feel welcome and make getting her teeth cleaned a fun experience. My only complaint is that I can't be a patient there too!!

I do not trust this dentist. She will try to tell you that your child will need braces at the age of 7 and pricey sealants. Very expensive estimates. I took my children to my dentist and he said that I did not need all that that Dr. Haugseth was trying to sell me. She is very cheery when you visit the first time. I think it is a front for the parents. When I took my then 3 y.o. back the second time, I was not allowed back in the patient room. My daughter was very upset and they still refused to let me go back with her. She is three, there is no reason I shouldn't be able to sit next to her. When my daughter came out, she said the dentist yelled at her to be quiet. I understand needing to be firm when you are in the pediatric profession, but you don't need to yell.

I took my 3 year old daughter for her first check up with Dr. Haugseth 4 years ago. She was fine, but sort of pushy. She told me that she needed sealants and wires in her mouth to correct a crossbite. I was unhappy that parents were not allowed to come back with small children, so I contacted Dr. John Taylor - a great pediatric dentist in Marietta who I love! He lets all parents go back with children every time, did not push me to get sealants (she has never had a cavity) and we never got wires and her teeth corrected themselves and they are great now! They just had a big show on 20/20 about some dentists not letting parents back with children and it was pretty scary...

I used Dr. Haugseth for a few years then decided to go in network with a dental plan my office offered - what a mistake! My child hated it and I was more or less pressured to schedule for work that needed to be done. I left feeling like a terrible parent and decided to call and talk to my daughters previous dentist. I am so glad I did! The office offered to see my child and re-evaluate the need for work and I found out that sealants I had paid for are stood behind with Dr. Haugseth's personal promise and replaced at no cost if they need replaced or if the tooth does need a filling they offset the cost of the sealant. I have always had nothing but the best experience from Dr. Haugseth and her staff and my child loves going there. We love Maggie too!
